About us

Tim has been a DIY-enthusiast since helping his buddy remodel his first home in the early 90s. When he and his wife, Kristin (me), bought their own first home, a 1924 vintage true fixer upper, he said “trust me, I can do this,” and he did! The home was chosen just a few years later to be on the ‘Historical Homes of Bay City, Michigan” walking tour. Now, eight homes, a few demanding corporate jobs and two kids later, we are currently in a solid “fixer upper” again, having moved to our dream lake home on Lake Keowee in 2025.

Now, we are wrapping up our projects, and since Tim “doesn’t idle well” —Foothills Fixers was born.

Our goal is simple: make your life easier. From quick fix of a leaky faucet to going through an inspection punch-list to small updates to that 1960s bathroom—let us help you!
